I’m not gonna lie folks. I’m really nervous about this game. The Terps got boat raced in the biggest game of the year on Saturday and our guards were awful. Cowan looks scared to shoot threes. Ayala is completely lost and Wiggins continues to mystify with his inconsistency. To win tonight, the Terps will need to play great defense for 40 minutes and run everything through Stix. This is officially a dream regular season run. The Terps have reeled off 8 straight including what will be remembered as the Cowan game over the weekend. Cowan willed the Terps to victory at the Breslin Center in East Lansing and it was something. He scored the last 11 points including three 3 pointers to put the Terps ahead and ultimately sealing the win. It was a virtuoso performance. What a big game the Terps have found themselves in! Tonight in Champaign, the Terps take on the Illini in a battle for sole possession of first place.
