They went to high school together, but their paths hardly crossed. It wasn’t until a few years after graduation that they reconnected… and this time… for good. <3 When Dylan proposed on New Year’s Eve it was an instant, no-brainer YES to being Mrs. Cisney and spending a lifetime together! Dylan and Maggie are some of the kindest people and getting to be a part of this season of their lives has been such a joy!! Maggie is a photographer herself who actually came to my workshop a few years ago… so of course when her name popped up in my inbox that she was ENGAGED (!!!) It was while taking a weekend trip to a college friend’s home that he first met Tierney… who juuuust so happened to be his friend’s… sister. Immediately, Tom was attracted to her. But he *also* knew this totally violated guy code – being into your friend’s sister, that is. But after getting his friend’s stamp of approval to reach out to Tierney, he did. Their friendship formed, but as they both joke now “it was a SLOW burn.” However, as time passed, their relationship grew… and grew… and grew. Into something more. Into something neither of them could deny. Through Tierney’s med school in Pitts ..read more

They met by chance in college during a freak snow storm… in October. Both snowed in, with the campus deserted and no where to go… they ended up seeking shelter at a friend’s place. And that night is where their paths crossed. From the moment they met, they just clicked. And it wasn’t long before they found themselves planning their lives around each other. Navigating new jobs, cities, and responsibilities… they’ve supported each other through each adventure together. Their love is one that challenges and pushes each other out of their comfort zone, yet simultaneously utterly embraces exactly w ..read more

It was the summer of 2012, and Justin’s voice teacher in Charleston encouraged him to attend a summer program at The Performing Arts Institute… in Pennsylvania. Kelly, living in Pennsylvania, applied for a scholarship to that same summer program… and won. And so, they met in Pennsylvania while auditioning for West Side Story. That’s where it all began… Justin as Tony and Kelly as Maria. :) Through rehearsal upon rehearsal, they built a friendship that grew stronger as they found more and more commonality between them. Fast forward to October 6th, 2019. The happiest day fulllll of celebration a ..read more

It was a beauuutiful fall day with plenty of sunshine and I just couldn’t have been more honored to be Alex & Caroline’s photographer. <3 Their day was an exact depiction of who they are… easy-going, full of laughter, and so much joy.   One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer is watching the way each couple of mine is cherished and celebrated by their very favorite people… and Alex & Caroline were no exception! Makes me SO happy because they’re just the kind of people that deserve the world. <3   Alex & Caroline, may these photos forever bring you back to ..read more

But I am SO excited to share with you their unforgettable Waterworks wedding. <3 Enjoy a few of my favorites from their beautiful wedding full of so much l ..read more

They met in middle school… and according to Becky, she fell for him right away and “it took a bit of chasing for him to notice me, but once he did we were inseparable.” And so their middle school relationship began. But when Becky’s family moved away, their relationship at the time couldn’t go the distance (they had *not* having their licenses to thank for that). Years later, on Kenny’s 21st birthday, he texted Becky to say hello… completely out of the blue. They talked that entire night. A few days later, she was out with friends when she randomly saw Kenny’s face on a poster, advertising an ..read more

There are certain days that remind me all over again what a privilege it is to do what I do… and this day was one of them. Keith & Rachel’s wedding was full of so much joy! From their amazing bridal party to wonderful families to beloved guests, everyone seemed to have a smile on their face to witness Keith & Rachel finally becoming husband and wife… after a DECADE together. They met through mutual friends in high school, ten years ago. He was the football player and she was the cheerleader… but they represented rival teams. Yet everything changed one day during senior week when Keith ..read more
