The year of lockdown proved that I own more clothes than I can justify. Like most of you all, I lived 90% of the year at home and in my pyjamas. I did a little purge by going through my entire skincare collection and threw away a lot of old and expired products. To be honest, I have been extremely lazy about my skincare regimen, and haven’t followed a proper routine since more than a year. Guilty! What a year this has been! March to October felt like a weird fused together month where you couldn’t differentiate between days. Let me get the first and most important point out of the way. However long you plan your vacation for Thailand – be it a few days or a few weeks. It’ll always feel short. After almost seven years, I got a chance to visit Pondicherry once more thanks to Hidesign. Their first store was opened in Pondicherry in 1990, and they also have one of their manufacturing units situated there which we had a chance to visit and get an in-depth experience of their entire process of production. We also had a chance to stay at two of the properties in the Hidesign family Le Dupleix and The Promenade both situated in the French Quarter of Pondicherry. Kerala is one of the most picturesque and beautiful places in India, and requires at least one compulsory visit. I had been to Kerala when I was very young with my parents and back then we covered Kochi, Trivandrum, Munnar and Thekkady.
