Pavlovas are the best dessert in my opinion! Christmas wreath pavlovas take it one step further, but anything for Christmas is better, am I right or am I right? This one is way bigger than my normal pavlova with 9 egg whites used rather than the normal 4, but you don’t see me complaining. Bigger is always better. I love a good Orange and Poppy Seed Cake, but wanted to see how a Lemon and poppy seed cake would go as I have never made one. I can report its just as good, quite different to its Orange flavoured sister, but lovely none the less. You have to make the icing to go with it as it gives it a real kick of the lemon flavour and a burst of sweetness – amazing tang.
