I’ve been in the climate-tech industry for 15 years. It came to me to write such content because I couldn’t find anything worthwhile to read to my own kids. I wanted to write something that was intentionally positive, something our kids don’t hear enough of as it relates to climate change.
Aaron Arsenault – 10 May 2024

Don Silver – 10 May 2024

The story was so shocking and upsetting, I knew I had to try to investigate and find out what really had taken place at the beginning of my life.
Patti Eddington – 7 May 2024
The Back Flap
Patti Eddington always knew she was adopted, and her beloved parents seemed amenable enough to questions—but she never wanted to hurt them by expressing curiosity, so she didn’t. The story of her mother cutting off and dying her hair when she was a toddler? She thought it was eccentric and funny, nothing more. When she discovered at fifteen that her birthday wasn’t actually her birthday? She belie ..read more

I came back to my Irish love story and saw that it was more like Persuasion, Jane Austen’s classic novel, than I had intended. So, I had a choice to make– turn the manuscript into a real Austen reimagining, or rewrite it as something else. I decided to take on the challenging of retelling my favorite novel, in modern society with a different set of characters and setting.

In the end, I felt that a character’s sexuality is such an integral part of who they are it didn’t seem right to shield the reader from it. And besides, half the fun of fiction is that it lets you inside someone else’s head. I plowed ahead and included the scenes.
J. Boyce Gleason – 27 April 2024
The Back Flap

The book is dedicated to my grandmother, Nancy, and so much of her lives in the kindness and strength of my characters. She taught me that it’s entirely possible to be fierce and compassionate at the same time, so I borrowed that piece of her to instill in my main character, Kiera.

I enjoyed the freedom of writing a novel, while remaining true to the spirit of the activism that may have, at least temporarily, significantly slowed the spread of fracking in Michigan.
Maryann Lesert – 18 April 2024

I wondered, “What
if suicide was illegal? What if it wasn’t just a moral issue, but a legal one, and you could be punished for taking your life?”

I want to write sci-fi and technothrillers for people that wouldn’t normally read sci-fi and technothrillers but have vivid imaginations and like imagining the future! And, as such, I want to make them accessible, action packed and combined with other genres they’d normally read, like crime thrillers and murder mystery.
