Looking to try a new stick for the new season. I currently play with the gr10000 as I love its feel and power but looking for suggestions on whether to get another one or to try a different stick. I’m open to any suggestions and I have no budget. Thanks

Played with a mates grays GR7000 in my varsity match, and really liked it, but it’s v different compared to the Y1 LBX/ 70 that I use currently, just wondered it other people have used the GR7000, 8000, 9000 or even the 10000 how that feels for them, for me they feel thicker but does the bow allow for good 3D skills and what are your experiences with them? Thank you very much

Kind of an emergency situation. The strap on my daughter’s Robo Plus kicker broke and we leave for USA Nexus super regionals tomorrow. We will be I. Los Angeles and I can’t find anywhere to get a replacement. All the vendors seem to be on the East Coast and I don’t think even overnight early delivery would arrive in time even if I was willing to pay the $200 shipping fee. Anyone know of an LA or Orange County vendor or have a diy hack for this? I was thinking maybe some heavy duty zip ties would be better than nothing but idk…

This is a question from Japan.
I really don't know the details about this grip tape, so could someone please tell me?

Someone helpfully linked to this piece in a prior thread: https://journals.lww.com/acsm-csmr/Fulltext/2009/09000/Field_Hockey_Injuries.00013.aspx . But I don't have a real sense of the risk of more serious injuries like concussions and eye/face injuries, particularly at the girls 14yo-18yo level. Might you see an injury like this once per season? Once every four seasons? Maybe those experienced in this area can try to give a feel for how it compares to other sports in this age range.

Does anyone have a newer brabo elite two or one stick, I have played 1 match and 2 practices and the head grip on it it’s chipping really easily like a lot is coming off (it just seems like a layer on the top coat of the stick) , it feels like a defect but I could be wrong. Someone let me know even if you have a similar stick

Hi! I'm new to the sub and new to the position of goalie. I tried the arm guards my club has, but hated them and 'went dutch' as they say. Now that I've been hit twice in the same spot on my forearm by first grade players practising flicks, I'd like to look into some kind of inner-forearm protection. Everything I'm seeing seems to be protecting the elbow bone and outer arm for sliding, but I want something that might reducing the ouch when I stick my pad out to block and overextend. Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Is anyone watching this, or even better, know where I can bet on it? All the usual sites don't have any options or odds.
