Hi! I’m jumping about 8cm lower on my dominant side (left handed approach, first video) and was wondering if you guys saw things that I didn’t that would make up for the difference between the approaches? I’ve used the right handed approach more in my life because I played basketball for 8 years before starting volleyball but I’m trying to get it even. If you guys have any fix or drills to help me it’d be great

Because of storytelling, TLDR; I injured my front side of my shoulder but I can use it perfectly except swinging my arm for spiking. Any advice? (Check below for detail)
Hi, I am playing volleyball every once in a week but we had to stop for 2 months unfortunately. Then after start playing back in the warming up part I injured my shoulder even though I warmed up more than normally do.
I was practicing serving but I just wanted to serve without jumping not even hit hard. My front part of shoulder hurt a lot when swinging my right arm for spike. After 30 sec pain is gone. I decided to not ..read more

Also side question how can i improve the consistency that i catch the ball in game because sometimes i don’t have time to think what i’m doing with my hands and then i will accidentally contact it on the edge of my finger tips or on my palms or one hand more than the other.

Hello everyone,
We are thinking of filming our matches. We are playing in a rented indooe stadium that has no stands for observers.
I am thinking of either buying a tripod for my iPhone, or a camera. I have no experience at all but I am willing to learn.
My problem here is that one time we tried filming, and the biggest problem was that the ball hits the camera sometimes and knocks it down.
I am a player myself so I can’t stand by the camera , I want to station the camera at a good spot and leave it there while we are playing .
Are there any tips or equipment that will help me on this scenari ..read more

Hi, I'm a very short person (168 cm) playing on a mixed net (about 2.24 meters or less) and I'm very much struggling with the overhand serve. I'm curious how long it took you to learn. I understand the fundamentals of keeping your elbow above you ear and really doing that swing motion when hitting, and also that you should hit the ball with the lower part of your hand so it goes up (?) and ofc positioning so that your hips rotate inwards and stuff. But really combining all of that is a struggle to me, as there's always something off about the serve, and if it's not the strength, then it's me ..read more

Not sure this post fits the category, but I just wanted to say thank you to all the people that helped me figuring out in my previous post how to perfect my hitting form. I know I still need to learn and perfect the technique, but since the last time I wrote here I feel like there are small improvements and I owe it all to you! Again, thank you, and if you have any constructive criticism, feel free to comment! ??
