I am using outlook365. What type of file type in excel should I save my file? Currently, My workbook file extension is "xlsm". and I am wondering if it should be something different. I have a few macros, but I really only use one. When I hit save, the macro will save the file, then adjust the file name to the file name plus date and time, and save it to dropbox and then to onedrive for back ups. My workbook has 42 worksheets, but they are probably small by most standards. The maximum amount of lines are 300 but most are less than 100 lines. I am working on a project that I want to have routinely “break” so I can ensure it is working appropriately. I think the best solution is to have all the sheets get hidden and the workbook locked so the users can then ask my to update their sheet. Any ideas on a code for this? Hi! I have on one tab C2 weeknumber , D3 to J3 day of the week, D4 to J4 the date and D5 to J5 the shiftname. The shift needs to bo repeated every 5 weeks. I have a list of clients that pay on different schedules- weekly, bi-weekly 1, bi- weekly 2, semi monthly 5/20, semi monthly 10/25, and monthly. I want to be able to create a to do list for myself so that I can track the payments have been made. Ideally, I can set it up so that I just enter the week number and it will auto populate the client name and the associated manager for all clients that pay that particular week. Hi. I have an excel file which I need a cell value to increase by day that has a date in it. Cell's name is "N5" I want to create a macro that increment that cell's value by day and save as a new file for each iteration. Sorry for this newbie question. I've been wondering for a while why sometimes I inadvertently add a total row to my tables when I really want to change a table name or style. I think I've figured it out, and I hope this helps others who may have been frustrated by the same behavior. It turns out that if you type the sequence [Alt]-jt, you get the Table Design tab. Within this, T gets you the total row. All good. But if you hold down [Alt] as you hit "J", you go straight into the tab, and the next thing you hit selects the appropriate option within the tab. I work daily on a workbook with multiple sheets that only I should be able to edit, but multiple should be able to just see and browse. I’m currently sharing the file with a link with the option to read only, but when someone opens that they have still the freedom to -take a look at the formulas -have a big green “edit your own copy” at the top Both this thing render my work extremely easy to copy and “steal” if one wanted to do so. Hello everyone, I am trying to give a rating based on certain parameters. Usually I do this manually but it would be great to have it automated. The parameters are as follows (colour coding would be fab too...)
