In the previous post, we saw how to start with Power Automate, so you have a better understanding of what RPA is about. This week, before digging deeper into automation, let’s stop and reflect. Reflect about what we could automate. Those things we do day in day out, those pesky tasks that we lose time with from time to time, all those little things that, when added up, eat a good chunk of our precious time. Get in a quiet place, list all those tasks you could automate and prioritize those that you want to start with. Then, let’s do it! Photo by David Travis on Unsplash The post List al ..read more

We are all looking for ways to get more things done in a day. Particularly, how to get rid of repetitive tasks. One very effective way to automate repetitive tasks is to program them, put them on automatic gear. And RPA is there to help. In the video below, I briefly explain what RPA is all about. I future posts, I will come back on how to automate some of our daily tasks with Power Automate, the rebranding of Flow, one of the products available through Office 365. Stay tuned! In 2015, Microsoft bought Wunderlist, a flagship mobile phone app to manage to-do lists. Wunderlist continues to exist and evolve, while Microsoft has launched another task management application: Microsoft To-Do. The strategy behind these choices is simple: use Wunderlist’s technology to deliver a robust application, while allowing Wunderlist to evolve in parallel. Both tools offer pros and cons. The main advantage of Microsoft To-Do is its seamless and direct integration with Office 365, and therefore the tasks within Exchange and Outlook. We will look into Wunderlist in a future post, bu ..read more

Here’s a new year, a new keynote from Apple and logically, a new iPhone! The eleventh of the name. It is Pro or not, more or less waterproof, allows any kind of gimmick with its cameras, and asks you to offload several hundred euros. Royally, Apple proposes to recycle your old iPhone to prevent you from leaving it forgotten at the bottom of a drawer. I quickly compared, thanks to Apple’s website, the differences, in terms of features, of my good old iPhone SE (which fits in my pocket and weighs only 116 grams) with the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro. Basically, outside the size of the screen (the SE is ..read more
