How do I bluff?
Reddit » Poker

It may sound stupid and there probably isn’t an answer since (I assume) it depends on who you’re facing. Basically me and my friends started playing recently, and we suck ofc. I noticed none of them try to bluff, like ever, so they’ll fold when the have bad cards and bet when they have something good, hoping it’s better than what the others have. I tried to bluff but I don’t know when I should start, how much I should bet to make it seem real, and how often to do it. We play Texas hold’em btw submitted by /u/Fra06 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

As noted in the title, I had a poker dream. It was...interesting. Tournament. Don't remember the blinds. I look down at AsJc on the button. I raise and am called by both blinds. Flop comes Jh7s3s. Checks to me, I bet and receive 2 callers. Turn Js. Checks to me, I bet and SB jams. BB tank calls. I tank call and they both have me covered. I assume I'm beat but atleast I'm not drawing completely dead. River 3c. I turn over my AJ for the boat. Small blind turns over KsQs dejectedly after turning the flush. BB turns over pocket Jacks. I scoop because this is my dream and I don't care that I have ..read more

Spin & Gold Longevity

Hey, I've started playing Spin and Gold on GGPoker, used to play Pokerstars Spin and Gos quite a bit and was decent at them. I've been doing quite well so far on Spin & Gold. Most players in the top leaderboards have around a 33% win rate, mine at the minute is 56%, is anyone else winning at this rate over a longer field than me and is this possible to keep up? If so I may commit more and more time into this. I play 6 Max usually. I've put a picture of my stats currently. submitted by /u/JustJiib [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

When to fold with "Pot Odds"

I think I justify calls sometimes a little too often with pot odds, though I'm not certain in some cases. I have an example, I'm wondering if I should've folded to 3-bet preflop. Playing 2-5, I'm deep stacked, but the effective stack in this hand is about 205 I open for 20 from the HJ with T8s The CO jams for 95 The Button cold calls for 95 (with 105~ behind). The button is a loose passive player that I generally do well against, but effective stacks are shallow. Everyone else folds. The action is back on me to call 75. I wound up calling - I'm not sure if I should've folded or not. I'm getti ..read more

Playing heads up I a sit n go last night, I have trips and guy betting into me and then all of a sudden. Says something along the lines of “hand was a misdeal and stacks have gone back to original stacks before the hand” is this common? It was for very little money so I’m just asking if this happens regularly. I eventually lost lol submitted by /u/Available-Bee-6131 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
