Hi all, I have recently taken over an adwords account of a B2B SaaS business and I am wondering if I should merge some ad groups. We run a brand campaign and the former SEA guy created one ad group for each vertical. E.g. Company name + vertical a and each of these groups contain different spelling and match types. I released a game on the play store a week ago and started a rather large google ads campaign featuring the full monty (display, search, PMax, Application and Retargetting) Stats-wise, this resulted in 500k impressions, 10k store page visits and... Well conversion-wise Google ads and google play seem to disagree. At first I wasn't getting any installs on both ends. I see a high amount of conversions (click on the download button which is then tracked via a thank-you page on our website) from Android or Windows operating systems. However, our app is Mac/iPad only. It looks like these conversions are spam. Obviously, the easy fix would be to exclude them from the ads. I was wondering if I can track clicks on my call ad extension as conversions. If so, how? Also, is there a way I can prioritize the call extension over others, maybe even with a bid adjustment or other methods? Lastly, where can I see how often assets are displayed per ad impressions? Im running an app install campaign and im able to see 4 different networks. Our installs are coming 99% of Google Search. Is it possible to see what google is doing behind the scenes? For example a bit of googeling revealed, that Google Search can have: Normal Google Search, Playstore search or ext network search behind it. We really want to know if we are paying for users that are doing branded search as this would be a total waste of money. There has to be a way to find out? I recently stopped using google ads as I was getting about 10 site visitors per day from my search and shopping campaign but for every £3000 I spent I only made £400 profit and I noticed traffic from ads was only staying a few seconds. I was also getting about 10 spam marketing emails everyday which was driving me mad. Since I’ve stopped google ads the spam marketing emails have also stopped.
