Our weekend was such a good one but it went by way too fast! It felt like our weekend kicked off early because my parents arrived in town in the late afternoon on Thursday and all three boys were out of school on Friday. It was so nice to my mom and dad in town during our three-day weekend and we definitely made the most of it. Hey friends! How are you? How was your weekend? We spent a lot of our weekend at home tackling various home projects we’ve had on our radar for months (a gallery wall, for one) but spent the vast majority of our time outside. After a dreary week, it was so wonderful to have a weekend full of S-U-N and we made the most of it with fishing, warm weather walks with Pepper, yard work, kayaking in the lake and basketball in the driveway. Hello, hello! Friday is here and we are ready for it! Our big plans for the day aren’t anything crazy but they’re certainly something we’re looking forward to later this afternoon. Some of our closest friends adopted a puppy yesterday and we get to meet him! Frankie is half German Shepherd and half Great Pyrenees and one big ball of adorable fluff right now. Ryan and I believe we will eventually get a bigger dog as a playmate for Pepper but we’re still planning to wait a few years when the boys are a bit older, so Frankie can fill our bigger dog love tank for now. Hello, hello! Spring break is officially over and all three boys are back in school today… for some of the day. Anyone else have little ones who have a half day or even a canceled school day today due to the eclipse? It’s no secret I am a seafood lover through and through. If I could eat seafood in some form every single day I would.
