SaGa is one of the longest-running RPG series out there. Many fans claim the 36-year-old Final Fantasy II is the first game in the series, one of its lead designers being SaGa series creator Akitoshi Kawazu. The first SaGa game (known as The Final Fantasy Legend in North America) came out for the Game Boy only one year later. The purrfect feline RPG series is back for another entry, this time on the high seas! During the recent Nintendo Indie World Showcase, The Gentlebros revealed that Cat Quest III (revealed last May as “Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean“) is sailing to consoles and Steam on none other than International Cat Day, August 8th. At the end of Nintendo’s latest Indie World Showcase, publisher Thunderful and developer Image & Form announced SteamWorld Heist II, a sequel to 2016’s turn-based tactics RPG SteamWorld Heist. A long-lost cell phone game entry in the Persona series is getting revived! Developer G-MODE is bringing back ATLUS’ spin-off cell phone game from 2007, Persona 3 Aigis: The First Mission, to the Nintendo Switch eShop and Steam through its G-MODE Archives+ label. The action RPG is a prequel to the original Persona 3. It focuses on, you guessed it, the battle android Aigis during an incident at Kirijo Ergonomics Institute in 1999.

During this week’s Indie World Showcase, Nintendo announced that action roguelite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate will be coming to Switch in July as a timed console exclusive. The company shared an announcement trailer for the upcoming release (below) showing everyone’s favourite half-shell heroes—Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo—battling Foot Clan hordes with iconic weapons and unique, upgradable special moves.
