Diablo IV Really Loves Its Season 4 Loot Change
MMO Fallout

They won’t stop talking about it. Diablo IV is changing up its itemization in Season 4, launching May 14, and you probably already know that even if you don’t play the game. Why? Because they won’t stop talking about it to everyone and everywhere. It’s like Diablo IV has joined a vegan crossfit group that also codes entirely on Linux. Season 4: Loot Reborn takes on a new theme, overhauling many core game systems to refresh how items are earned, how they function, and how they improve as you level through World Tiers during the season. Unlike previous Seasonal themes that affect only the Seaso ..read more

Project L33t Throws Shade At Escape From Tarkov
MMO Fallout

Their PvE, should they choose to include it. With Escape From Tarkov setting its player relations on fire this past week, it only seemed inevitable that other developers would use the opportunity to promote themselves. Cue in Project L33t, a game not unfamiliar with controversy as the developer is closely associated with well-known con artist Sergey Titov. Project L33t is an upcoming extraction game similar to Escape From Tarkov, and the folks at Holmgard Games announced that Project L33t may have a PvE mode at some point in the future. Or it may not, they’re not sure. It depends on the logist ..read more

Derek Smart Announces Line of Defense For UE5
MMO Fallout

Being rebuilt from scratch-ish. Derek Smart is back, and he’s talking about Line of Defense. A game we pretty much assumed was dead given the last blog post on the website wouldn’t be all that familiar with Covid. An MMO shooter that’s been long in development, Smart notes that with the full version of Unreal Engine 5 being out, he has rebooted development from scratch and will be releasing it on said engine. Though I have been working through some other pet projects which actually pay the bills, I have now decided to reboot the project from scratch, and rebuild it with UE5. Mostly from scra ..read more

ArcheAge Is Dead In the West
MMO Fallout

After years of floundering. After years of diminishing returns, gross negligence, and disappointing performance, ArcheAge has finally given up the ghost and announced its sunset. In the west at least. The termination notice was delivered earlier today on the official Steam channel; After discussing the performance of ArcheAge with XL Games at length, we have concluded that we’re no longer able to provide the MMORPG we envisioned. The declining number of active players means the game’s content is no longer accessible in the way it used to be, and the experience of it is different from what was ..read more

By the internet. Escape From Tarkov players are looking to escape from Battlestate Games this week. Genfanad Finally Has A Vision; It’s Closing
MMO Fallout
by Admin

Shutting down soon. Genfanad is a perfect example of a title that meandered in development and ultimately couldn’t find its place. Originally devised as a RuneScape Classic clone of sorts, Genfanad has changed its direction over its tumultuous development to become a trading card game of all things. Well it turns out that idea didn’t work either, and now the Genfanad devs finally have a concrete vision for the MMO. They’re shutting it down. Rose Tinted Games announced that the Genfanad servers will close down on April 30. Whilst we’ve tried to morph Genfanad into a title that we’d be happier ..read more
