Manchester United had recently announced that they would be making changes to the amount of games fans would need to attend in order to renew their season ticket at Old Trafford. The 17/19 proposal required fans to attend 17 out of the 19 home league games to then qualify for a renewal the following season. The previous bar was set at 14 games and a three match jump might have proved too much for some match-going Reds. Options were available to send tickets back to the club that would then be marked as “used” but fans were not happy with the new policy. Now, as confirmed by the Manchester Unit ..read more

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag’s initial plan last summer included selling then-skipper Harry Maguire and using that money to try and bring in a new defender who would be more suited to the style he was trying to develop. In the end, however, the England international’s deal with West Ham United fell through and the Red Devils were forced to abandon their plans of signing Jean-Clair Todibo of OGC Nice. Instead, with very little options left on the table, the club opted to offer veteran Jonny Evans a one-year deal after the Northern Irishman impressed the Dutchman during training. The ..read more

Manchester United star, Marcus Rashford, has spoken out once more on the abuse he feels he has suffered in this current campaign. The England international was in amazing form last season, as he scored 30 goals for the Red Devils and was instrumental in a third place finish and a Carabao Cup victory, where he scored in the final. However, this season has been a nightmare for the striker on and off the pitch. Due to the quality and talent of the player, there have been moments of inspiration such as a wonder strike versus Manchester City last month, but these moments have been few and far betwe ..read more

Manchester United have suffered one of their most tumultuous seasons on and off the pitch in a very long time. The case of Jadon Sancho is just a snippet of the controversy the club has faced this season. Sancho was exiled from the playing squad in September after a falling out with Erik ten Hag after the Dutchman called out the player’s efforts in training and resultingly left the Englishman out of the squad until he apologised. No apology ever came, so the winger was sent out on loan to former side Borussia Dortmund in the winter market. Sancho has been played quite well since his return to ..read more

Manchester United may have just gained an advantage in the pursuit of long-term target, Dayot Upamecano. The Red Devils’ defence has been a nightmare this season as a mixture of rotten luck with injuries and really poor individual play, has meant teams have time and time again cut the defensive structure to shreds. This was on display in the last two games as despite gaining positive results against both Coventry City and Sheffield United, the side from Old Trafford conceded a combined five goals and could have easily given away more if the opposition had been less wasteful. As a result, Unite ..read more

Manchester United have received a huge boost in their pursuit of Michael Olise as Chelsea have been ruled out of the chase for the winger. The Red Devils have struggled massively for wing play as a series of unfortunate events have weakened the attack this campaign. Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho for different reasons have been exiled from the squad and have been sent out on loan to Getafe and Borussia Dortmund. Erik ten Hag’s big money signing Antony has continued to massively underwhelm and has failed to justify even a quarter of his £86m price tag. Despite impressing in his limited playin ..read more

Manchester United will reportedly need to surmount one huge obstacle that may ultimately force them to part with more millions in their bid to sign Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise. Olise is thought to be a prime target for United, who are set to dip into the summer transfer window for reinforcements in the attacking department. In the right-wing position especially, United need more quality options. The ineffective Antony has proven to be a massive disappointment and his days at Old Trafford certainly seem to be numbered. Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag snubbed journalists and reporters who were critical of his role during the club’s embarrassing FA Cup semi-final win on penalties against Coventry City last weekend. United easily surrendered a 3-0 goal lead with 20 minutes of regular time left on the clock. Ten Hag’s men were comfortable for large spells of the game but their mental fragility was exposed once again by Coventry, who struck thrice to force the game into extra time. The Championship side nearly won it when Victor Torp found the back of the net in the 121st minute but luckily for United, th ..read more

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has been making all the right moves since his purchase of a minority stake in Manchester United was announced. From not making any public comments on Erik ten Hag’s future, so as to not intensify any pressure on him, to approaching some of the best footballing minds in Europe to transform Man United’s football structure, his actions have backed up his words.
