Sizzling hurdles performances by Danielle Williams and Karsten Warholm highlighted the first day of action at the Muller Anniversary Games in London Stadium on Saturday (20). In the 100m hurdles, Williams, the 2015 world champion, was on fire from the outset en route to a sensational 12.32 performance to cap what was by far the finest day of the 26-year-old’s career. Twelve days after his lap-counting error in the 5000m at the IAAF Diamond League meeting in Lausanne, Hagos Gebrhiwet made no mistakes in Hengelo on Wednesday (17), winning the men’s 10,000m in a world-leading 26:48.95. The races doubled as the official Ethiopian trial races for the IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019. AMES, Iowa -- Masters athletes ages 30-96 broke seven world record and 13 American records over four days of competition at Bill and Karen Bergan Track at the Cyclone Sports Complex on the campus of Iowa State University.    Full results can be found here. Getulio Echeandia Jr. (Southwest Sprinters Track Club) clocked a new 55-59 age group 400m hurdles world record crossing the line in 57.73. He also won the 400m on Saturday in 54.85.
