When Reed Boggs calls you up and says, "Hey, I want to build a gnarly new line in Virgin, Utah and I want you guys to film it," the logical answer is a resounding yes.
I'm not sure the conversation went exactly like that, but whatever was said between Reed and Amon Barker of Aprés Media led to an absolutely stunning film. Check out Oasis premiering exclusively right here on BikeMag.
Oasis was more than just a meeting of the minds to churn out an edit, this was a passion project for Amon, his crew, and Reed. The team got to do this exactly how they wanted with no strings attach ..read more

Vancouver Island is home to some incredible riding. Though it gets less attention than the mainland of BC, the island has a dedicated group of builders and riders and has produced some of mountain biking's biggest names like Jordie Lunn and Stevie Smith.
Watch Nate Slater ride one of his builds on the island in “Inertia” below.
In this video, Slater rode a pristine jump line through the ferns. Perhaps the most impressive shot in the edit is the enormous river gap from the side. The angle really does justice to how big the drop is and how flat the landing is.
Some of the best edits are people ..read more

In the last year or so I’ve put the bulk of my multi-speed mountain bike miles on three drivetrains. A Shimano XT M8130 LinkGlide setup, a SRAM GX T-Type package, and the SRAM XX1 11-speed shifting currently adorning my Marinster Truck. I love the ‘old’ deluxe-level SRAM 11-speed shifting. It’s lightning-fast, the cage isn’t three miles long, and I’m in tune with it such that I generally nail all my shifts.
