Nothing is back with two new sets of earbuds -- the higher-end 'Nothing Ear' and the more affordable Nothing Ear (a). The company has dropped the numbers from the names of the earbuds and instead appears to be transitioning to a naming scheme that's more in line with Apple and its AirPods line. This likely means that in a few years, we're going to have Nothing Ear (2026) instead of something cleaner like Ear (4), but thankfully, that doesn't take too much away from the actual products announced today. It's a big day for Apple's For All Mankind. The company has renewed the alternate history sci-fi series for a fifth season on top of greenlighting a new spin-off called Star City. Also hailing from creators and For All Mankind executive producers Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi, the new series is described as "a propulsive paranoid thriller” about the people in the Soviet space program. Canada to forge ahead with tax on tech giants

Canada plans to move forward with its Digital Services Tax on big tech companies after delaying it for talks on a global treaty for taxing multinational companies. As reported by Reuters, Canada's federal 2024 budget says the government will move ahead with the tax, which will begin to apply for the 2024 calendar year. Additionally, the first year will cover taxable revenues earned since January 1st, 2022.
