HAMMOND, Ind. — More than 1,100 elementary school students in Northwest Indiana don't yet know where they'll be attending classes next year after the school board voted Tuesday night to close three area schools, according to a report by the Northwest Indiana Times. PARK RIDGE, Ill. — Police are searching for two suspects after an armed robbery in an underground parking garage in Park Ridge. The incident happened just after 1 a.m. Tuesday in the parking garage located at 15 North Summit Avenue. A man reported to police that while he was walking towards the elevator, he was approached by two men wearing ski masks. One of them sprayed the victim in the face with pepper spray.
