DreamWorks Animation and Universal Pictures have announced that “Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie” will open nationwide on September 26th 2025. The live-action/CG-animated preschool series debuted on Netflix in 2021 and has been a hit for the service, and is the sixth-most-viewed streaming original series in the U.S. in 2023 according to Nielsen. Peter Jackson’s “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy is returning to cinemas this Summer. Warner Bros. Pictures and Fathom Events are teaming to bring the extended editions of the trilogy to cinemas. More specifically the remastered versions of those editions which Jackson did in 2020 for the 4K UHD disc release are what’s being screened – the first time that version has been available on the big screen.
