  Just like a year ago, a standout BU season ended in the Frozen Four semifinals as a Tristan Broz goal 11:09 into overtime gave the #3 Denver a 2-1 win and berth in Saturday’s championship game. Game time is 5 p.m. ET for the contest that will air on ESPN2 and be live-streamed on ESPN+.   Freshman standout Macklin Celebrini has been named a Hobey Hat Trick finalist by the Hobey Baker Memorial Award Committee, along with BC’s Cutter Gauthier and North Dakota’s Blake Jackson. It’s the latest honor for the high-scoring North Vancouver native.     A three-goal second period + solid goal-tending + a resilient third period closeout was the formula that produced a come-from-behind, 6-3 win for the #2 Terriers over #7 Minnesota in the Sioux Falls NCAA Regional tournament final. With the win, BU advances to the Frozen Four in St. Paul on April 11, where they will face Springfield Regional champion Denver in the semifinal.   #2 Terriers received goals from six players and a dialed-in Mathieu Caron stopped 28 shots—and covered up numerous defensive gaffes—as BU pulled away from a tenacious #17/18 RIT squad for a 6-3 in the semifinal of the Sioux Falls Regional. Terriers will face Minnesota, who rallied in the third period to edge Omaha, 3-2, in the regional final Saturday night. The win improved BU's record to 27-9-2.
