Hi everyone, Jenny Marples here with you today. I've been a fan of the work of Roxanne Evans Stout for many years now, enjoying the way she creates collage art pieces with multiple mediums and textures. So I decided to try out her methods for this post. I started with a sewing themed stamp set, a die cut embroidery hoop and a rough idea to create some kind of collage journal and let everything evolve from there. The finished journal has a vintage feel to it and the collage pages inside are my own small tribute to Roxanne's art. I also used stuck to using one stamp set throughout, lo ..read more

Hello everyone, Martha (@craftingmartha) here, it's great to be back with you! Today, I'm excited to share with you a mini album that I've created following our new topic, "Vintage PaperArtsy Stamps". My starting point was to use the Queen stamp from the Hot Picks stamp set 1604 (HP1604) for the cover, and I developed my mini album adapting it to those measurements. After crafting a prototype using photocopy paper to determine the structure, I selected mixed media paper sheets to bring my vision to life. Looking at the Queen's face, it seemed to me that I could see a dreamy ..read more

Hi everyone, it is Ann ( aksbarchitect CREATES) here with you. I have been really enjoying all of the vintage PaperArtsy projects lately. What a wonderful celebration to be a part of! I am excited to share my project for the this PaperArtsy topic with you today. The Vintage PaperArtsy concept had me thinking about ways of using the incredible vintage style images in a contemporary way. Exploring new methods and mediums is something I love to do, so I decided I would try my hand at making a modern jewelry piece with resin; a clean and simple design that will allow the image ..read more

A note from Leandra ... It is always an exciting event when a new designer joins the team, and super interesting to see how other people interpret them. With that in mind, I invited Keren Baker to create with Kate's new stamps. I love to see how the same stamps can be used so differently, depending on a person's individual creative style. How might you put your twist on these stamps?? Like Kate, Keren loves bright colours, but she often uses white space to good effect too, and she often 'sees' stamps in unexpected ways ... so after the lovely blast of inspiration from Kate yesterday - here ..read more

Hi everyone Etsuko Noguchi (My favorite things) here with you today. This PaperArtsy blog  has been very exciting recently with bloggers sharing all about Mattints, so as we move into a new topic, I thought I'd use those a little differently myself along with the Vintage stamps I am using, Hot Picks. This vintage topic had me thinking about how to mash-up my chosen Hot Picks decorative large number stamp set with Seth Apter stamp set. I thought a bit about what to make, but then I remembered the block cubes my son had, I decided to create a Cube Calendar using a calenda ..read more

Hello, Mags here with you today.  I'm excited to share with you my project for the next round of the 3 things challenge here on the PaperArtsy blog. I must admit I'm not normally a fan of surprises, mainly because I am a bit of a control freak ! but I do love a challenge ! When I was younger I loved watching "Ready Steady Cook", a UK television series where two chefs were given mystery ingredients and told to come up with something wonderful. This challenge is in a similar vein, but with art supplies. When the parcel arrived with the three supplies for the challenge, I couldn't wait ..read more

Hi there everyone! It's Riikka from Paperiliitin here today to share with you my make with 3 things! The three things I received were Ink & The Dog Collection (Buttons 4) stamp set (B4EZ), Tall Heart die (PAD-TH) and Fresco Finish Frosting Glaze (FF111). Frosting Glaze (FF111) was a new product for me, but as soon as I read the description in the card that was with the package, I had the idea of doing transparent ATCs. I've done some before and I really like the floating effect the transparent base creates. There's something magical about the substrate and it's always fun ..read more

Hi everyone, Nikki here today with my 'With 3 things' project. The products I was sent were PaperArtsy Frosting Glaze (FF11), PaperArtsy Die - Tall Heart and PaperArtsy Ink and the Dog - London 2 (LN2) stamp set. At first I was not quite sure how I was going to bring these together. I have been following some Zentangle style posts on Instagram lately and I am always happy working with geometric shapes so decided to create a journal page using the heart die both as a shape to draw around but also to create some translucent windows. To start I created a stencil out of my die and outl ..read more
