A lot has changed since I launched The Amateur Gastronomer in 2008. Since 2008 and shifting entirely into wine, food and travel writing, I was certified as a sommelier through the United States Sommelier Association. I was certified as a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) though the Society of Wine Educators. I moved to Atlanta and began writing for local magazines. My articles and photographs have appeared beyond that, in regional, national and i ..read more
