From Anthony Nash of WrestleZone.com Ricochet has reportedly informed WWE that he will be leaving the company when his contract expires over the summer. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Ricochet has already informed WWE of his plans to depart the company. As a result, the former United States Champion will soon be written out of any WWE storyline involving him. While it’s not precisely known when Ricochet’s contract will expire, it’s said that it will end sometime in the summer. Following his Barbed Wire Steel Cage match at AEW Double or Nothing on Sunday, there was fear that TNT Champion Adam Copeland had suffered an injury. Though AEW owner Tony Khan was unsure of Copeland’s condition immediately following the match, it seems the 50-year-old didn’t escape Sunday’s PPV unharmed.
