I have a 2011 Volt premier with navigation and having an issue where the back up camera video is black and white both during the night and day. I thought it was the camera so I swapped it out but still have the same issue. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue. After seeing cfstutz's post in another thread I sent an email to Mary Barra for the executive resolution team asking for clarification. Today I got a call from a new resolution agent and she said the part is going into manufacturing on 3-18-2024. She also says it may take 2 or 3 months before they are delivered to dealers. Hello to all Looking for advice. I have a coolant leak from around the area of the Engine Coolant Outlet. I plan on replacing the inside gasket. When removing with out taking off hoses. I realize I will lose some coolant. Big question is Can I replace gasket and then Just add new dexicool Coolant to the Reservoir tank. And not use a vacuum kit? I would have to buy a vac kit and a 90 psi compressor. Rather just fill it back up slowly. Anyone done this? Looking for Advice ..read more

Just got some bad news, my 2014 volt needs an engine. All the dealership said was it was damaged internal components. When I asked exactly what they said it would take a tear down to figure it out and by then all the labor isn’t worth it. They quoted me $4,800 to put in a used engine with 28k miles on it. Do you think it’s worth it? I really only need another year out the car but I’m worried if I put more money in it then something might happen soon and then im really screwed. I need a little help as I have tried just about everything on the forum and no such luck yet. Background: 2018 Volt 45,000 miles on the Odo, 4,200 miles on the ICE. First ERG valve replaced at 1,800 miles on the ICE, since then I have never run the ICE for lees than 15miles and made sure it was fully warmed up before shutting down. Have a 2013 that suddenly decided not to charge; no lights, indications, errors or anything like that, even the EVSE shows no faults. Tried another, known working, EVSE and that did the same thing (nothing). The charge port appears to have never been replaced (service history), sooo, it's probably gone south, but they are as rare as hen's teeth these days!
