Xfinity Mobile introduced two new unlimited plans for customers to choose from this week: Unlimited and Unlimited Plus. Like we’ve seen from other carriers, the idea is straightforward. The more lines you have, the bigger your discount. For example, a single line on Unlimited costs you $40, but if you have four lines, your total is just $100/month. That’s a lot of savings. Same applies the the Plus plan. Starting at $50/mo, but including faster mobile hotspot data and higher resolution video streaming, an account with four lines can be had for just $140. That adds up to $60/month in savings. B ..read more

We have yet to learn important details about the Pro XL, such as its size, but thanks to reported measurements for both the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro, we can start guessing as to what Google might deliver. For instance, the Pixel 9 is reported to come in at 152.8 x 71.9 x 8.5mm, with the Pixel 9 Pro measuring 162.7 x 76.6 x 8.5mm. To help you picture this, the Pixel 8 Pro measures in at 162.6 x 76.5 ..read more

Samsung and Verizon are beginning to ship what appears to be a minor update out the Galaxy S24 lineup, which includes the S24+ and S24 Ultra. That makes this the second update for the month of March. The only thing listed in the changelog is “performance improvements to your device.” That’s not especially helpful and the update isn’t yet available for our unlocked units. If you get the update and spot anything new, feel free to let us know. If you’re in the mood for a chuckle, check out this Tesla Cybertruck-inspired Galaxy S24 Ultra. Priced at $8,770 for the 256GB model, the device is produced by Caviar, a company that specializes in taking existing products and making them much more sweet. According to Caviar, the device gets outfitted with titanium and jewelry enamel to form a design similar to Tesla’s wild looking truck. I’ve actually seen a couple on the road already, and yeah, they certainly are something. If you are a diehard Tesla customer, my first thought is that you’re also an iPhone user, but if you do use Android, th ..read more

Android Friends, Apple Might Let iOS 18 Put Icons Anywhere on Home Screens
Droid Life

We try not to poke too much fun at Apple these days when they add features to iOS that have been on Android for years. Not only is it kind of a played-out move, but Google and Android certainly borrow from the other side as well. That said, we have to make exceptions from time to time when something so wild is on the horizon that you almost can’t believe it. Apple is expected to show off iOS 18 at their developer event in June and the rumors so far suggest it’ll be one of the mobile platform’s biggest updates ever. One of the key areas getting a lot of talk at the moment is in home screen cust ..read more

As I was writing up the latest Samsung wearable news, I noticed on Samsung’s website that the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is currently down to a super low of just $305 after an instant discount. That’s $95 off the usual price. If you have an eligible trade-in, it could be insanely lower. For a trade-in like the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, thanks to enhanced trade-in values being active, you can get the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic for as low as just $80. That’s a very good deal for this device, even with the knowledge that there are new models around the corner. Some folks don’t mind that, as saving money these ..read more
