PRAIRIETOWN, Ill. - As several structures were damaged in severe storms Thursday evening, family and friends of one farm in Prairietown, IL, are now picking up the pieces. Farmer Richard Goebel grew up at the farm. Bommarito Automotive Group's SkyFOX shows the damage is extensive. He and his brother are third-generation owners. ST. LOUIS - The City of St. Louis found a 19-year-old guilty of second-degree murder and armed criminal action Friday. Devin Griffin-Curry was at his grandparent's house in the 2500 block of Semple Ave. on July 12, 2022. Neighbor Rickey Jemore Lathan, 35, was outside with two of his six children, shooting off fireworks. Griffin-Curry's grandfather went outside and confronted Lathan when a bottle rocket mistakenly hit his house, telling him to take the fireworks to a vacant parking lot. CREVE COEUR, Mo. - St. Monica Catholic School in Creve Coeur announced Friday that their school will be closing after this school year ends. ST. LOUIS - A St. Louis flight bound for Sacramento, California, made an emergency landing Friday afternoon shortly after the plane took off. Sources tell FOX 2 that the plane had 175 people onboard and that the plane made a safe emergency landing around 4 p.m. Friday. ST. LOUIS - One man is dead after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into a north St. Louis home Thursday night. The crash happened around midnight in the Walnut Park East neighborhood. EUREKA, Mo. - At least six small tornadoes developed in Missouri and Illinois Thursday evening. One of those went right through a wedding rehearsal dinner.
