By Bradley Cassada – DFW better watch out because Wade Bagley’s Music makes it a bad day to be a Beer! We need to take a moment to recognize Lava Cantina the venue I got to catch Wade Bagley at, known for having hot food and providing the hottest musicians in the scene! After eating the Flaming Lava Queso (Which I highly recommend!) I realized the live music was the real fire in the building! Wade preformed a mixture of original such as Shad of You and Last Call, and a couple of New ones of his New EP! The rest of his set was filled with covers that got the crowd coming into the show just as muc ..read more

An Editorial Opinion by: Bradley Casada I get this question all the time, especially when the terms Red Dirt and Independent Country get thrown into the mix. The simple version is people singing about life from their point of view or looking in on someone else’s, but the long story to come with it can come with it evolving just like it all has. It has early roots such as Joe Ely, Townes Van Zandt, and Guy Clark. I call it a luxury to see shows where the energy i ..read more

Muscadine Bloodline @ Tannahill’s Tavern & Music Hall – February 17,2022 Lets first start with Tannahill’s Tavern & Music Hall, the fairly new establishment, a creation of Celebrity Chef Tim Love, is in the Historic Mule alley in the Stockyards of Fort Worth. We arrived to security checking ID’s and putting wrist bands on us if we were over 21, we were then sent down a alley and not invited into the tavern as I can only assume they wanted to get us into the Music Hall. The Music Hall is a Concrete Box with a Cat walk overhead that doubles as access to VIP and has VIP tables along the ..read more

May 11, 2023 – By Bradley Casada: I had this amazing pleasure of seeing Hayden McBride for the second time. The first was an energetic crowd at one of the staple Venues in Texas, The Blue Light Live. The second and most recent was in an awesome underrated venue in Denton, Dans Silver Leaf. This venue has some of the best Acoustics I have ever heard and has big names such as Kody West, Cody Canada, and even Hayes Carl. Adding to the list of talented musicians to come play this intimate venue Hayden McBride and his band played a show that had the crowd dancing and singing along! The set list o ..read more
