So I have a 140mm 2023 Fox Factory 34 fork. I'm buying a different frame, and I need to convert it to 130mm travel. The problem is, all the 130mm air shafts for 2022+ model year forks are sold out. I can find air shafts for 2018-2021 Fox Factory 34 forks in stock. From what I read, you can use the 2018-2021 air shafts in a 2023 fork, but they'll give you 10mm less travel than advertised because the negative air chamber is smaller in the older forks, and there's a thicker piece in the older... For my wife. We don’t have much opportunity to try before buy. Looking for more reach, rollover, and travel than her 2xs Canyon Spectral (140mm, dual 27.5 wheels). She can stand over an S1 Stumpjumper, very tight though. I think it will be better for her as a mullet. Looking at the Santa Cruz Bronson size small - XS is 27.7 front and rear. I'm heading to Moab tomorrow for a week or so and then heading to the Virgin / St George area. I rode the Guacamole trails last fall and really had a blast. Does anybody have any recommendations for grips that are soft texture and grip well when sweaty? My grips now are Ok but suck when sweaty and I don’t always wear gloves. I can't jump. I mean i can, i can jump well, but steep lips get the better of me. I can't do tables, dirt jumps, gap, the whole 9 yards. Its weird though, because when it comes to bunny hopping, jumping natural jumps, or non-steep lips, i get massive air time. I mostly think it is a mental issue, as i kinda get scared of going into jumps.
