Dragon’s Dogma 2 has no shortage of devious tricks up its sleeve with which to take players by surprise in the meanest way possible, but none of them can hold a candle to Dragonsplague. The disease is contracted by Pawns and is highly contagious, which means Pawns can infect other players’ games if summoned, and if signs of the disease are ignored, the results can be (literally) catastrophic. With its upcoming update, however, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is nerfing Dragonsplague, to some degree. Capcom has confirmed that the open world action RPG will receive its next patch sometime later ..read more

The ESRB has rated Kena: Bridge of Spirits – Deluxe Edition for Xbox Series X/S, with Maximum Entertainment listed as its publisher. There hasn’t yet been any official word on an Xbox release for the game, but the ESRB listing might suggest that that could ..read more

Why I Am Looking Forward to Stellar Blade
GamingBolt.com
by Stuart Glover

In an era where Sony’s first-party studios are on hiatus, a blockbuster PS5 exclusive the like of Stellar Blade is very much in demand. Gameplay previews prior to the demo hinted at an action adventure a little bit like Metal Gear Rising Revengeance, or perhaps a bit of Ninja Gaiden, with an aesthetic akin to many similar modern action games. Playing through the 90-minute demo and getting a feel for the combat and exploration makes clearer that what we’ve got our hands on is something more akin to a Soulslike, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice especially. This is because during combat you’ll spend a l ..read more

Fable – What the Heck is Going On?

When you look back at Microsoft’s past in gaming – the snubbing of PC gaming, the lack of exclusives on Xbox and insistence to stick to the Big Three for its first-party – it’s in considerably a better position today. Impressions were mixed on the latter two, but they found some supporters. Furthermore, despite 2022 being a lot more woeful in terms of big releases, it still offered well-received titles like Pentiment and Ground ..read more

Square Enix’s Visions of Mana is the next big title in the long-running action RPG series, with a story focused on Val as he accompanies his friend Hinna to the Tree of Mana. Combat incorporates special abilities via Elemental Vessels, which can also result in different classes. However, it won’t have one thing that the series is renowned for: Co-op multiplayer. Introduced in 1993 with Secret of Mana, co-op has been a staple for many mainline entries.
