If the Sex Pistols never broke up

If the Sex Pistols never broke up Sex Pistols, one of the most influential bands in history, only left us with one proper studio album (and Swindle). I was curious to see if I could attempt to make a fantasy timeline where they make more than 1 album. This is by far the most unreleastic timeline I have ever made, so don't take this too seriously, it's all just something silly in the end! The main problem was, 1. John's solo career is so vastly different from his work with the Pistols that I just couldn't work with them really, and 2. the rest of the members' careers are very sporadic ..read more

Another Alternate Beatles Timeline

Another Alternate Beatles Timeline Towards the end of the Get Back sessions, the idea of a "Grand Return to the Stage" had been transformed into performing in the Toronto Rock and Roll Revival festival later that year. This free time provided them to make a whole new album, Abbey Road, and simply have "fun" in that show. In fact, the show went so well, unlike in our timeline, The Beatles had stayed together longer. Released in December of 1969, this album finishes of the grand 60s with one last show aimed towards peace and love. This... is Earth-121969 The Beatles - Live Peace i ..read more

Decca Beatles Albums 1962, The Beatles auditioned for Decca Records. However, the band was dropped by the label thus resulting in The Beatles signing on to Parlophone Records at EMI. This label change also affected the lineup as the drummer, Pete Best, was dropped and was replaced by Ringo Starr. But... What if they weren't dropped? What if The Beatles made albums on Decca instead? And what if Pete Best was still in the band? We hope to answer those questions today with this post. Their first album, Introducing The Beatles, is released to limited fanfare. In this timeline, The ..read more

Alternate Los Shakers Albums   Los Shakers (or The Shakers) were a Uruguayan band that started out as basically a Beatles of South America (You can start to see why I like these guys). The bands music started to change however during the mid-to-late 1960s with them starting to incorporate more bossa nova and jazz elements to their music. All this finally resulted in their last album, La conferencia secreta del Toto's Bar, which is often called the South American version of Sgt. Pepper's. Talking to some people (mostly TimeWarper) I was surprised at how close that band were to gett ..read more

Non Beatles Fantasy Albums So I listen to other music (woah big shocker), and since I am really into alternate history, I've been making some albums for bands that aren't The Beatles for a while now. Now, It's not the usual fantasy album you'd expect like Smile by The Beach Boy or even Songs from The Black Hole by Weezer. No, I tried to go a bit more unique. Also I will be updating this blog with new albums and bands so make sure to check back in every once in a while to look at any changes I've done. Anyways without further ado... What if The Beatles broke up in 1968?

What if The Beatles broke up in 1968? Now during 1968 White Album recording sessions, tension was at an all time high. Now some have wondered what it would be like if the band had broken up in '68. Most of the recordings from the White Albums are really just glorified solo recordings with one or two other members on the track. So from 1968 and onwards, I split up The Beatles' tracks into various solo albums.  Paul McCartney - Lady Madonna/Blue Moon (1968) John Lennon - Hey Bulldog/What's The New Mary Jane (1968) Paul McCartney - Hey Jude/Los Paranoias (1968) The fi ..read more

Alternate Beatles Album Covers The Beatles, often had multiple different concepts for album covers. However not all of them made the cut. From outtake photos to unused designs, I bring to you "Alternate Beatles Album Covers" (Note: yes I did make this look like actual album covers but my main inspiration comes from this. enjoy.) Please Please Me (1963) Just like a lot of The Beatles' album covers, during the photo session they had a few outtake photos. This is just one of them and I think it fits rather nicely. With The Beatles (1963) This one also has a few outtake pho ..read more

The Rutles Albums We all know and love the Rutles movie. (The sequel was ehhhhhhhh) But what if there were full albums for The Rutles discography? We clearly see some album in the movie and some songs are from certain albums however these aren't enough to fill a whole album. People such as TheLazenby, Rutles' Vinyls, pj and RutlesFan78 created these full Rutles albums using songs from The Rutles, Bonzo Dog-Doo Dah Band, Neil Innes, The Flames, Ollie Halsall and many more artists to make the most Rutles-sounding albums as possible. The album covers are from The Rutles Wiki (Yello ..read more

Beatles Fantasy Albums (If they hadn't broken up) There has been a lot of people including me who have wondered what would've happened if The Beatles hadn't broken up in 1970. Inspired by cosmonautbilly, jtmichaelso5, Mikethegibus, Witmer, and many more people, I present to you; my own Beatles Fantasy Albums.
