When I think about the perfect wedding day, Julie and Matt’s wedding will forever come to mind. It was one of those days where everything fell perfectly into place, the weather cooperated, and everyone was overjoyed for the couple. The venue, florals and everything in between were stunning, the food was delicious, the music was *on point*, and the evening ended with the most perfect sunset. I couldn’t have dreamt of a more magical day to spend celebrating such a sweet couple. My favorite moments from the day, though, were watching how Julie and Matt interacted with their guests. It made me s ..read more

Y’all… This wedding was one for the books. I couldn’t have dreamt of a better or more beautiful way to go back to work after maternity leave. Lily was glowing all day. I heard her talking, laughing and singing as she got ready with her bridesmaids. She was grinning from ear to ear the minute the day started, and I knew she was oh so ready and excited to marry the love of her life. The love between Josh and Lily was so real and beautiful to experience. Throughout the evening you could tell they were having the time of their lives. They held hands and hugged. They caught up with dear friends. T ..read more

Two years ago the world shut down, postponing the wedding day Tanner and Mily had been planning and dreaming of for months. They went ahead and had a small ceremony, but decided to wait to have their big party until things got better. And now, almost exactly two years later, they finally got the big celebration and wedding they wanted. And y’all, it was so perfect! You never would have known that there was an extreme heat advisory and temps in the 100s. Nothing could wipe the smile off of Mily’s face and the excitement radiating from Tanner. It was such a beautiful day honoring their two year ..read more

Megan and Zander’s wedding was one that was beautiful in all the big and little details. Like the moment Matt saw his little sister for the first time. Or how much Zander smiled when they were introduced as husband and wife. Or watching Megan and Zander soak in the quiet moments together throughout the day. The day was perfect and full of love! My favorite moment of the day was the very end of the night. The sparklers were lit, everyone was cheering, and Megan and Zander had the biggest smiles on their faces. The wedding was over, but their future together was just beginning. Everyone was so ..read more

The private last dance at a wedding is quickly becoming one of my favorite parts of the whole day. There’s just something special, sweet and peaceful about an empty room, a specially selected song playing, and just the bride and groom swaying on the dance floor. At Kelly and Trevor’s wedding, the last dance brought tears to my eyes. As Trevor softly sang the song to his bride and smiled down at her, Kelly rested her head on his chest. After a long day of getting ready, waiting, taking pictures, eating and dancing, they finally had a moment to sit back and soak it all in. They were married, and ..read more

This wedding was by far one of my favorites. I’ve known Lexi for years, and just knew her wedding would be one for the books. I’m not sure if it’s because watching two high school sweethearts get married always makes me emotional, how adorable Lexi and Noah are together, or the simple beauty of the wedding, but I left with such a full heart. The day was full of love, celebration and so many happy moments! I definitely teared up a couple of times just watching Lexi and Noah enjoy their day and (finally) become husband and wife. One of my favorite moments of the day was the final dance between ..read more

The thing that stood out to me the most from this beautiful wedding in the hill country was Alegria’s smile. It was infectious. The entire day she had an ear-to-ear grin on her face, and I loved watching her throughout the evening. You could tell she was having the best day of her life, and seeing her celebrate with Casey brought me so much joy. Alegria and Casey are two people who are in love – there’s no doubt about it. As I heard stories about their relationship, watched them with their loved ones, and talked to them throughout the day, I could see just how perfect they were for each other ..read more

I don’t even know where to begin with this blog post. I have so many emotions, feelings and things I’d love to share about how much I love Rachel and Carlos. Getting to capture the wedding of another one of my siblings was so much fun, and it was even more special being asked to stand by Rachel’s side as her matron of honor. Growing up we were always at odds, arguing, tattling on each other, and typical sister stuff. There is a 5 1/2 year age gap between us, and  it was hard to be close when we were young. I was “too cool” for her, and annoyed that she always wanted to do what I did. My ..read more

When we first showed up to the venue on Ashley and Brad’s wedding day, you could feel a sense of calmness in the air. Even though the forecast was not looking good, Ashley was still smiling from ear to ear, excitedly anticipating the day she had been dreaming of for years. As she got ready with her mom, we laughed and joked around, talked about life and soaked in the quiet moments before guests began to arrive. Ashley and Brad had decided to forego having a wedding party, and I truly enjoyed the simplicity of their day. I didn’t have to wrangle up the groomsmen for pictures, there were no bri ..read more

Sunshine, Chiedozie and I go all the way back to December 23, 2018. That afternoon, in the middle of Klyde Warren Park in Dallas, Chiedozie asked Sunshine to marry him while I covertly took pictures. It was such a sweet proposal and I knew even then that they were two amazing, genuine people who loved each other dearly. I took their engagement pictures the summer of 2019, and excitedly anticipated their wedding that was scheduled for April 2020. But then the world went crazy and after pushing their wedding date back multiple  times, they decided to just go ahead and move it to April of 2 ..read more
