Today, I’d like to introduce you to a terrific author who has been making waves in the world of romance and humor: Lucy Score. If you haven’t found her yet, you’re in for a treat.
Now, I stumbled onto Lucy’s work when browsing Amazon. As someone who enjoys a good balance of romance and humor in my reading, Lucy’s books proved to be the exact retreat I didn’t realize I needed.
First and foremost, Lucy Score is more than simply a pen name; it is a persona that perfectly captures the author’s ability to win over her readers’ hearts. Lucy has carved out a niche for herself in the ever-expanding wo ..read more

I thoroughly enjoyed reading ‘In a Badger Way’ and following the characters through all of the drama. It was a crazy, exuberant amount of stimulation.
However, it’s not as powerful as a romance. The romance progresses like a game of hopscotch where you have to jump from square 1 to 4 and then to 12 since there is so much narrative and so many characters. Much of the emotional interrogation, or even courting, had already ended before it had begun.

Hot and Badgered is the first book in the “Honey Badger Chronicles” series, which has been a huge hit in the romance community, and I’m now getting around to reading them. I never know what to anticipate from this author, and to be honest, her writing does require a certain kind of mood, as it’s among the most UNIQUE that I have ever encountered—and I’ve read a lot of romance in particular.
Furthermore, these novels have piqued my interest much, especially as they center on honey badgers, a species in the animal kingdom that is underappreciated for its tenacity, power, and feistiness. And I wa ..read more

“Killers of the Flower Moon” by David Grann is a gripping narrative that unravels the dark and disturbing history of the Osage Nation, a Native American tribe in Oklahoma. The book, published in 2017, delves into the systematic murders of wealthy Osage Indians during the 1920s and the subsequent investigation led by the fledgling FBI.
When I started reading this novel I had no idea of its historical significance, and the broader implications of the events it portrays. All thanks to Leonardo DiCaprio who made me intrigued about this book enough to read it as soon as the trailer went out.
