It has been very busy behind the scenes, we work with a lot of schools, Cardinal Wiseman is the school we have worked with for over 30 years (did you know that?) Andy and Matt used to have lessons there when they were a lot younger. We are proud to say that due to demand we have confirmed additional spaces for over an additional 150 children. Further to that, they are already at 50% capacity after only 48 hours. We have also just confirmed another potential 75 spaces through the week at the school (done in the last 2 hours, so hot off the press). All of this is following on from a really insi ..read more

So a common email we have is when parents don't know the teacher. Due to the fact that our Beginner and Beginner Plus class have a fully qualified instructor and a trainee instructor, sometimes parents wonder who is who? Now you will be able to see clearly by following these simple steps... Blue Tops- these are fully qualified Level 2 Instructors. There may be 2 blue tops teachers in your class...why? When people get qualified we don't just drop them in a class by themselves with no support. They will work with a more experienced teacher for a course. Yellow Tops- these are our assistants. So we took the step and went live with our new logo and website after the rebrand. We hope you are liking the new website. We have tried to trim it down a lot and make it easier to find the information you need. You will start to see the new logo used at all of our pools. - Staff will be getting new uniforms - Signage will stand out more with the new logo - The giant roller banners will be updated To be honest, there is so much to do! Andy and Matt have been working tirelessly behind the scenes on it. The Website and Social Media platforms are all designed and developed/ran by Andy. Matt has ..read more

It has been an interesting few weeks. About 6 or 7 weeks ago we had an interesting email from Google. They told us that somebody had claimed our business. Usually when people try to play around with it, you get a “suggestion” to change something- this leads to you either saying yes or no. This time round, details had been changed and it had been cleared. We reported this to Google and they unverified our search listing, this then meant our visibility was minimised and people couldn’t see or leave reviews. We went through a long and arduous process of getting verified (thinking it couldn’t be ..read more

From feedback we had from parents, we wanted to create and design a clear, visual pathway that our swimmers take on their swimming journey. Introducing, Pathways. The Pathways system show parents and children alike the route they will take. Whether they start with us at Pathway 1 in our 12 month to 24 month classes, all the way to our newly designed L.G.A where we are starting to train the instructors of tomorrow, the Pathways system show you where you are, where you have been and where you are headed. Visit our Pathways page for more info on each individual Pathway at www.suesswimschool.co.u ..read more

So why change what we have? The logo had been used for nearly 30 years. obviously would never think about changing the name but we often felt it needed a refresh. We have still kept the same colours and even layout, we have added the 3 waves to link us to swimming and in case you hadn't noticed, three S's; symbolising Sue's Swim School. You will see the new logo on our signage around the pools, on our new uniform which we will explain in a different blog but also on all of our advertising. We are excited to be revisiting our merchandise options such as tops, towels and hats as well ..read more
