PLANO, June 27, 2022 – The Japan-America Society of Dallas/Fort Worth (JASDFW) hosted its annual Sun & Star Legacy Award on May 26, 2022 at the Omni Frisco Hotel. Sean Donohue, CEO of Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, received the 2022 Sun & Star Legacy Award and business leader Hideto Nishitani was honored with the 2022 Bridges-to-Friendship Award.

RICHARDSON, May 30, 2023 – The Japan-America Society of Dallas/Fort Worth (JASDFW) had the pleasure of welcoming The Honorable Hideaki OHMURA, Governor of Aichi Prefecture for a dinner on May 9 with local leaders from business, economic development, and government. This was Governor Ohmura’s first time in the United States in five years, since his last visit to Texas in May 2018.
