Zili rugs are manufactured by hand, using flat-weave processes. They are approximately 10 mm thick.
The materials used are wool, sisal and PET, ideal for their strength, with the possibility of creating geometric designs or borders.
Selvage, bound or fringe edge options available.
They are fully customisable in a wide variety of colours and shapes, and are available in square, rectangular and round formats.
With wool it is possible to recreate an "abrush" effect, the typical colour changes in raw wools.

A hand-tufted rug is made with a special artisanal technique whereby an operator manually uses a tufting hook or gun to follow a design previously traced on a base canvas. Thanks to the use of a special tool, designed specifically for creating rugs, the production process is much faster than the one involved in making hand-knotted rugs.
This type of rug has a fabric backing that covers a layer of glue used to hold the pile threads in place after they have been "shot" into the canvas. Consequently, you cannot see the pattern on the back of the rug.
