It’s the season for sick kids! UGH! My kids have been sick off and on for about a week now.
They’ll have a fever for a day, be fine the next, then have a fever again and coughing & runny noses for a couple days. It seems like kids colds are never ending.
When my kids have sore throats, don’t feel like eating and are coughing a lot, a warm drink can make them feel more comfortable. I didn’t have my usual kid friendly tea and I didn’t want a drink with a lot of sugar.
So I was on the hunt for some alternate kid friendly warm drinks. Here are 7 delicious warm drinks for sick kids.

Of course they want everything but I try to pick toys that inspire creativity and have some sort of meaning to them. Like picking toys and games they can build, play with multiple ways or something that reminds them of their favo ..read more

We had something very exciting happen this week. Our 4yr old got her ears pierced! She was so excited and has waited months for this big event.
I did a lot of research and looked into our options, so I just wanted to share what I found and our experience, in case there are other parents looking into getting their child’s ears pierced.
There are not a lot of options when it comes to children's ear piercings. It seems like you can either do it affordably or very expensive.
And of course with a cheaper option, you run the risk of potential injury or infection. Which is definitely not something ..read more

I have a confession. I have dandruff.
It’s not something a lot of people know about me and it’s not something I share.
For me, it’s embarrassing and uncomfortable. My dandruff is not just white lightweight flakes.
My dandruff is patchy, thick, scaly and it itches. Kind of like a thick itchy scab. In several areas on my scalp. Sometimes they bleed.
It's uncomfortable and if I give into temptation and try to pull off the flakes, chunks of hair come with it.
I have tried expensive medicated shampoo fro ..read more

I looked for the best deals and ideas for Dino party decor. Here’s what we did if you’re thinking of throwing a Boys Dinosaur Themed Birthday Party. If you’re throwing for a girl, just add pink & flowers!
