Corey’s Comic Corner, Etc.
We’re back with another slightly useful but always entertaining week of reviews, deep thoughts and general mediocrity. It’s also Groundhog Day this week! Will he or won't he see his shadow?? Either way Winter is moving along. I had just read recently that the sun had made an appearance only three out of the last 30 days! That’s crazy. On the plus side, we are well below our average snowfall as well thus far in 2023. I don’t think anyone will complain about that.
With the snow and cold I managed to get out to see Infinity Pool with a buddy over the week ..read more

COREY’S COMIC BLOG, ETC. 27TH EDITION
Welcome back frequent fliers for another zippy and zany week of reviews, mild mischief and blatantly forward jibber jabber. If you want reviews, recommendations and life advice you’ve come to the right place. Probably.
Spring has Sprung! It’s a beautiful Sunday afternoon as I'm pulling together this week's blog. My family and I met some friends at Kettle Ridge Farms in Victor this morning for their annual Maple Weekend. We had pancakes and sausage with fresh warm maple syrup. Followed with some maple glazed donuts and washed it all down with a ..read more

COREY’S COMIC CORNER
Welcome back for another week of reviews, recommendations, pop culture talk, slightly deep thoughts and overall hijinx…
It’s a beautiful and sunny winter day here in the ROC area. These are the kind of winter days that pretty much nobody really minds. There’s just something serene about standing outside and letting the hot sun warm your face while you take deep renewing breaths of that cold crisp air. There is no better way to start the day! Take your coffee. Take the dog. Close your eyes and just take it all in for 5-10 minutes. Try it.. Trust me! Winter can be long and ..read more

Coming hot off the stove we have a sizzling platter of comic reviews, our weekly recommendation and the usual random banter you’ve come to expect from none other than me! So grab a fork and let’s dig in!
We’re in the final couple weeks before Spring which is exciting! Clocks moved forward this past weekend, pushing our daylight a little deeper into the evening. I ..read more

Welcome back POP ROC’rs! It’s time for another and maybe exciting edition of Corey’s Comic Corner, etc.
We’ve got the usual comic reviews, movie recommendations, etc. ready to roll but first I wanted to start off the blog with some thoughts on the events that transpired during the 1st quarter of the Bills game last Monday.
It’s been a long year for the Buffalo Bills. A long year for the city of Buffalo in general! From the mass shooting at Tops to the Blizzard over Christmas. It’s been a difficult year that has repeatedly tried this city's mettle. On Monday night Jan 2nd, #3 Dama ..read more

COREY’S COMIC AND MOVIE REVIEW
Welcome back POP ROC’rs for another totally bodacious and utterly delicious week of this little blog of mine. It’s the flavor of the week, the creme de la creme and the piece de resistance. It’s everything you want and need at this very moment in your life! So, sit down, relax and let’s get at it shall we?
Not a ton of exciting news to report over the past week or so. I’ve been dealing with a nagging lower back injury which has mostly kept me sidelined. I’ll tell ya, there is nothing more frustrating than a back injury. I’m not sure I’ve ever felt s ..read more

Corey’s Comic Corner, etc.
Welcome back frequent flyers. It’s time for yet another week of reviews, recommendations, ramblings and otherwise needless banter. You haven’t asked for it, but we’re always ready for more! So sit back, relax and join me for what potentially may be the most epic and exhilarating chapter of this blog yet! Maybe!
This week I'm coming to you live from the passenger seat of my wife’s vehicle while she spends some time perusing the latest sales at the Eastview Mall in Victor. Basically the only mall left in our area that doesn’t have the potential to be fea ..read more

Corey’s Comic Corner
Welcome back pop culture lovers for another edition of Corey’s Comic Corner, etc!
I hope everyone managed to have a decent Christmas over the past weekend even in the wake of the 2022 Christmas blizzard. Unfortunately for many of us in WNY, Santa only brought us freezing temperatures and blizzard conditions which left a large portion of us missing out on Christmas Eve and Christmas day festivities. We were also spared quite a bit in ROC snow wise as compared to our Buffalo neighbors but the city did find itself with a major water break ahead of the storm which clos ..read more

Corey’s Comic Corner, etc. - 23rd Edition
Pull up a chair, put your glasses on and focus if you can.. It’s time for a new week of reviews, recommendations, life changing conversation and mostly not boring banter……
It's Sunday morning and a beautiful, balmy 45 degrees outside in ROC as I come to you live from the couch. Coffee in one hand, dog sleeping to the right. Everything is as it should be to start the day. It feels like Spring compared to the -3 degrees we woke up to yesterday morning! We officially reached -8 overnight on Friday. Gotta love Rochester this time of year. The highs a ..read more

Welcome back POP ROC’ERS to Corey’s Comic Corner
It’s been another whirlwind of a week as we inch closer and closer to Christmas. Work, work some overtime, shopping, repeat. Not a lot of fun mixed in this past week but I did manage to get into a little trouble at a community fundraising event on Saturday with some fellow coaches, board members, etc. We held a travel softball fundraiser at a great local brewery called Brindlehaus. They recently also expanded next door to start serving food under the name Fetch. I had promised my wife I'd stick to one-two beers and be home within a couple hours ..read more
