Rachel Wakefield's "Passage II" is on display in Kentuck's Teer Gallery until June 1, 2024.
Rachel is from Florence, Alabama and earned a BFA in Sculpture and Painting from the University of Alabama in 2014. In 2015, she opened a painting studio and gallery in her hometown. In 2017, she moved to Northport, Alabama where she currently resides and works full time as a graphic designer. She spends the rest of her time pursuing painting, working in her garden, and spending time exploring nature with her fiancé and their two dogs.

Kentuck's Museum Gallery has been transported to the wonderful, imaginatively colorful Land of Ardithian. Ardith Goodwin's exhibition, Shifting Inertia, showcases the energies within her children's book project, will be on display through June 1, 2024.
Ardith has built her professional career as a self taught fine art painter for the past 20 years. The former elementary school teacher turned to creativity as part of her treatment plan when she had to retire due to physical challenges.

"Repurposed" is on display in Kentuck's Museum Gallery and Teer Gallery from March 7, 2024- April 29, 2024. This show features the intricate and thoughtfully designed mixed media works of Penny Dobson, Kerry Leasure, Debra Mager, Betsy Youngquist, Elayne Goodman, Laura Walker, and Diana Vest. Scott McQueen's exhibition, Selections from Scott is on view at Kentuck's Gallery at Hotel Indigo until January 28, 2024. Raised in Fayette, Alabama, Scott was surrounded by folk art, including such great artists as Jimmy Lee Sudduth and Benjamin Franklin Perkins who was known affectionately by many as “Brother Ben.” Scott fondly recollects times during his childhood when he observed Sudduth create his now-famous mud paintings. However, he did not consider art as a career until much later.
