Hi all, New here. I'm a mother of an almost 18 yo girl, who has struggled with a marijuana addiction for a couple of years (including two visits to rehab). She has anxiety and OCD and is self-medicating with the pot, and some compulsive use of it. She hates alcohol and does not abuse pills. She's tried them, and doesn't like how they make her feel (Xanax, Ritalin) and avoids cocaine or opiods, as she worries she will get addicted. She also says she doesn't like to feel out of control. Hi just found this group . Waiting to get tested for adhd at the moment it’s pretty obvious through learning about adhd over the last couple of months I am . My pretender said to me a while ago you’ve got traits for autism and adhd. So decided to do a little bit of digging and find out what the traits were (this was 3 months later once I remembered about it). Hi guys I’m currently on 54mg of concerta and looking to see what else may be able to assist with my adhd. I struggle with regulating my emotions and feedback from work is I’m either “happy or angry” (passive or aggressive) to the extreme with no inbetween. This is my main trouble in the workplace, not being able to get it in check when it happens. But still have the fast speaking and interrupting people. TL;DR - Desoxyn worked great at start. Have developed significant tolerance in addition to poor sleep and noticeable symptoms of reynaud's. So recently I came into some Amphetamine salts (not going to say how or recommend to anybody how, so hopefully this thread doesn't breach the rules but please correct me if that is the case), but today I tried some out for the first time. Hello all, I have had a diagnosis of ADD for most of my life (I believe since about 2nd grade and I am currently 21) so I have gotten use to the quirks and weird behaviors that come with the diagnosis. Well my partner has never dated someone neurodivergent.
