Paris Spring Fashion Trends 2024
Everyday Parisian

After each trip to Paris, one of my favorite blog posts is rounding up the best trends. I typically spend time in cafés and parks, watching Parisian fashion and making notes. My husband has joined in on the fun and enjoys spotting the fashion trends on the streets of Paris with me. My latest trip was at the end of March, going into early April, and the weather was cold and filled with rainy days. Some of the Paris spring fashion trends for 2024, I found, were spotted in Bon Marché and other shops as it wasn’t warm enough for dress season. If you have noticed any trends, I would love to hear t ..read more

What to do in Paris in the Spring Spring is one of my favorite times to visit Paris. The city comes alive when the weather breaks, the cafés are full of Parisians and tourists, and the city is buzzing with energy. It starts to warm up towards the end of March in early spring and gets hot towards the end of April. Remember that every year is different; it snowed on April 1st in Paris last year, and the first two weeks were freezing and rainy. It is always good to check the forecast before you go because the weather can be unpredictable. Below are my favorite activities for what to do in Paris ..read more

It has been a lovely weekend at home. We visited the farmers market and enjoyed a long walk downtown with Henri. We had an event on Saturday night, and I wore this adorable jumper with heels. My husband and I snuck away early for a late dinner at the bar at one of our favorite spots in the city.  Grab your coffee and croissants, and join me for links I love. What I Packed for Paris in the Spring Earlier this month, I was back in Paris for early spring.  My last Paris trip was in January to capture images of Paris in the winter and holiday decor for The Print Shop later this year. This time, I returned to the city of light to research new restaurants, hotels, and museums for blog content and updates for The Paris Guide. You can see my whole Paris agenda here. Spring in Paris is filled with unpredictable weather, making it challenging to pack. It is a good idea to pack layers for warm and colder temperatures. Make sure to check t ..read more

This week, I quickly transitioned back into Chicago. Taxes are due right around my birthday, which is always stressful. I feel as soon as I am over that large hump, I can think again. There are a few big projects I am working on for 2024. My yearly skin check was on Friday. I am telling you this because it is my friendly reminder to schedule yours if you haven’t already done so. The new freckle on my hand is just a freckle. If you notice anything new pop up on your skin, it’s best to get it checked out. Also, sunscreen and a hat are your best friends.  Cherry blossoms are in bloom in Par ..read more

5 Ways to Beat Jet Lag As a Paris photographer and blogger, I have taken many international trips. Jet lag is part of traveling to Paris. If you talk to different travelers, they either struggle to go or come to Paris as they cross time zones. In my experience, arriving in Paris seems to be an easier transition, partly because of the adrenaline and returning to my favorite city. Adjusting to a new time zone can be challenging. The goal is quickly getting your circadian rhythm back on track and adjusting to the local time. Below are my top tips for beating jet lag.  Jet lag symptoms can ra ..read more
