The visiting Georgian professional side came out on top 0-38 in a physical encounter with the combined U23 intercity outfit (supported by a few overage players), scoring six tries to claim a deserved win. Both Edinburgh and Glasgow were able to give valuable game time to a number of youngsters, who gained plenty of experience going up against a strong squad containing Georgian internationalists with Rugby World Cup experience. With four teams and nearly 100 participants involved, there were plenty of smiles as Edinburgh Inclusive Rugby Team, Ayrshire Clan, Strathmore Clan and Fife Clan went head-to-head before settling in for a night of BKT United Rugby Championship action. Bradbury, 28, makes the move back from Bristol Bears whom he joined in 2022. The back-row previously spent eight years in the Scottish capital, a period in which he developed from academy graduate to the club’s 36th centurion.
