Greenwich Communities has rescheduled its community meeting to provide information and updates on its proposed 48 unit development for 0 Strickland Road, near Cos Cob Train Station, on Tuesday, May 28.
The meeting is in the Town Hall Meeting Room on the first floor at 6:00pm.
For May 28, people may attend in person or via Zoom. People can log in to the Zoom here.

On Tuesday the P&Z commission took up a vote on the application from Newfield Properties LLC’s proposal for a 3-story, 31 unit “government assisted” 8-30g development on Oak Ridge Street where 22% of the units – equal to 7 units – offered to people making up to 80% of AMI for 40 years.

On Tuesday the Planning & Zoning commission unanimously approved the applications for Municipal Improvement and Final Site Plan and Special Permit for the BOE project at Julian Curtiss School.
P&Z chair Margarita Alban said the commission did not have many questions about the application and all staff comments had been addressed.
Bill Kelly, chair of the Julian Curtiss School building committee, said they had been tasked with the alterations of the school to make it ADA accessible. The school property is 15.3-acres located in the R-6 residential zone.

Berkley Insurance Company has submitted an application to the Greenwich Planning & Zoning department to demolish several buildings in the area of Steamboat Road in order to build a new office building with parking on site.
Specifically they seek a pre application review for a site plan and special permit request.

The May 14 Planning & Zoning Commission agenda includes a proposal to rezone part of 6 Neil Lane, home to Rocco V D’Andrea Inc, land surveyors, land planners and civil engineers.
The 1.172 acre property already is in two zones, but they seek to re-zone a 44,163 square foot portion of the 51,052 square foot property from the R-7 residential zone to the LB (Local Business) zone and construct an addition to the rear of the existing office building.
