The Philadelphia 76ers had two chances to beat the New York Knicks.
They’re now down 0-2.
The loss in Game 2 was particularly painful for Nick Nurse’s team, as they were up late in the fourth quarter before a bit of a collapse happened.
Nonetheless, Joel Embiid still likes their chances.
Following the loss, the reigning MVP stated that his team should be up 2-0, adding that they’ll be just fine (Via PHLY Sixers).
We should be 2-0. We’re good. We’re going to win this series,” Embiid said.

The Philadelphia 76ers will try to even their opening round series against the New York Knicks on Monday night but they may be doing that without one of their best stars.
Chris Haynes is reporting that Sixers star Tyrese Maxey is “questionable” for Monday’s game with an illness.
If Maxey sits out of the game, it’ll be a huge blow to the Sixers, who haven’t been able to catch a break with injuries and absences lately.

Joel Embiid’s return to the Philadelphia 76ers has been very helpful for the team.
They have won every single game he has played since coming back on April 2 and are now the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference before the playoffs kick off this weekend.
But NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins doesn’t believe that Embiid is fully healed.
In fact, he thinks that he’s not even 80% healthy.
Speaking on ESPN, per NBACentral, Perkins said that Embiid isn’t his regular self yet.
“He has zero dunks since returning from the injury,” Perkins noted, saying this is ..read more

The New York Knicks have their first-round matchup.
With the Philadelphia 76ers taking down the Miami Heat, they’re now poised to head to Madison Square Garden.
And while the series hasn’t even started yet, it seems like the Sixers are already in playoff mode.
That’s why backup big man Paul Reed didn’t hesitate to send the Knicks a message.
Talking to Chandlers Parsons, Reed claimed that as much as they won’t run from the smoke that came with potentially going against the Boston Celtics, the Sixers are happy that they’ll go against the Knicks becaus ..read more
