COUNTY NEWS RELEASE After water from a leaking gate valve and subsequent repair efforts destroyed a roadway in the Quemazon subdivision on Wednesday, Los Alamos County Department of Public Utilities (DPU) and the Los Alamos County Traffic and Streets Division collaborated on a plan to fix the road as quickly as possible. Repairs are scheduled for Friday, Monday and Tuesday. The water leak occurred on the block of Quemazon Place between Tranquilo and Sereno.
