Pizza Bites The current viral sensation are the Crazy Puffs from Little Caesars pizza. I knew as soon as I saw these, I could make them! Thats exactly what I did! I think my Hubby ate 4 of these LOL. Safe to say he LOVED them!!! The fun part with these are that you can add any toppings that you would like. You can definitely get creative with these. For my toppings, I used pepperoni and sausage. If you use sausage, fully cook about 2-3 oz of pork sausage (breakfast sausage) and set aside. In a bowl, add 1 tbsp of butter, 1 tsp of minced garlic, 1 tsp of garlic salt and 1 tsp of dried oregano ..read more

Pasta Salad Spring time is almost here and this Pasta Salad is perfect for something light to eat. I didnt say “healthy”, I said “light” :) LOL I love pasta salad since you can get creative with the ingredients. You can use your favorite pasta and veggies and toss it in a dressing of your choice. Pasta salad is always better once it has been in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. I used garden rotini pasta for this recipe since it adds extra color to the dish. Cook the pasta of your choice according to the package directions. Chop 1 red bell pepper, 1 cucumber and 1/2 cup of red onion. Dr ..read more

Braised Beef Short Ribs These short ribs are so tender, you will be able to cut them with a spoon! Now, its not one of my normal quick and easy meals but it will definitely be a go-to for a romantic dinner. Its also a pricey meal, but its definitely cheaper than ordering it from a restaurant. When I made this dish my Husband asked “what is a short rib?” I explained to him that it is similar to a pot roast but has a bone and is much more flavorful. This recipe is for 2 lbs of short ribs which was 4 in total. Pre-heat your oven to 325 degrees. Season the short ribs with 2 tbsp of onion powder, 2 ..read more

Strawberry Brownies Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day and these brownies are the perfect dessert! Especially with the added touch of heart shaped strawberries, which are optional. For this recipe, I used a strawberry cake mix and turned it into a brownie mix. The main difference in the cake mix and brownie mix is the added liquid, such as milk or water. For this recipe, you will omit the milk. Start by washing and dicing 1/2 cup of fresh strawberries. In a bowl, add 2 eggs, 1/2 cup of vegetable oil and 1/4 tsp of vanilla and whisk well. To the bowl, add 1 package of strawberry cake mix and whisk w ..read more

Salmon Bites w/ Garlic Cream Sauce Salmon bites are the new hot thing on social media so I figured I would jump on the bandwagon as well. I decided to make a savory sauce with them besides the normal sweet and spicy sauces I have been seeing. Anytime salmon is involved, lemon, garlic and butter will work every time. Those flavors enhance the taste of the salmon. Grab a whole salmon and remove the skin. If you like the skin on, you can keep it but I find the bites work better with the skin off. Your preference. Remove the skin and cut the salmon into 2 inch pieces. Add the salmon bites to a b ..read more
