Artificial intelligence or AI has blown up as it entered the scene in 2022. AI can do almost anything these days, including generating a headshot. So do AI headshots devalue traditional, professional headshots?
Absolutely not.
In fact, I’d argue, that it’s more important than ever to have a real photo of yourself.
Authenticity cannot be fabricated.
I think that AI headshots are a fun experiment, but they should not be used in a professional capacity and I’ll explain why in this post.
AI Headshots are not a replacement for a real headshot
Do I think AI Headshots are fun? Yes, I think that it’s ..read more

Let me tell you about my friend Debby Jewesson of The Roots Group. I first met Debby when she was launching her previous business, Branching Out Events. I remember vividly (even 15 years ago) going to her beautiful home in Kessler Park and marveling at her creations during her launch party.
It was that moment when I knew then, which still holds true today, that Debby is a force to be reckoned with…but in the most high energy and delightful humans I’ve ever encountered.

Are you a photographer? And are you trying to figure out how to price your photography?
Pricing. It’s the topic that keeps photographers up at night, causing self-doubt, second-guessing, and even paralysis. We’ve all been there, questioning ourselves endlessly:
“Am I charging too much? Am I not booking because I’m not charging enough? Should I even be in this business?“
Sound familiar? Well, you’re not alone!
Every photographer I’ve ever spoken to has played this mental game at some point. It’s completely normal.
But here’s the thing: seeking pricing advice from random people on the Internet o ..read more

Are you looking for women’s networking groups in Dallas, Texas?
Networking is probably one of the most underrated ways to finding new clients, especially in a world that is dominated by social media marketing. But especially in post-pandemic life, people crave to meet other people in person.
And for an introvert, networking can feel scary or intimidating, however, it doesn’t have to be. One of the best ways to find new clients and customers is networking! And if you’re a local business (like a photographer or anyone with a physical storefront) you want to be meeting people in your local area ..read more

Have you been in business for a while? Do you feel like you’ve grown out of your current brand? Are you wondering if you’re ready to rebrand? You may be wondering what signs to look for.

My Experience with Branding
When I was first starting out, I rushed into getting a l ..read more
