The Godlove Family Restaurants/McDonald’s Male Athlete of the Week (April 22-27) is field event specialist & sprinter Lukas Ross. The junior from Miamisburg, Ohio returned to action and led the Warriors track team to a fourth place overall finish at the Franklin Bartt Owens Invitational on April 26. Ross competed in three individual events and a relay at the Bartt Owens Invitational scoring 20.25 points for the boys track team (out of 79 total team points scored). The Godlove Family Restaurants/McDonald’s Female Athlete of the Week (April 22-27) is track & field distance runner Kelsey Towle. The senior from Dayton, Ohio led the Lady Warriors track team to a fifth place overall finish at the Franklin Bartt Owens Invitational on April 26. Towle scored 19.50 points (out of 78 total team points) for the Lady Warriors as she competed in three different events: 1600 meter run, 800 meter run, and the 4×400 relay. Senior, Isaac Scanlon set his second school record of the 2024 baseball season on Saturday, May 4, during a non-league game at Bradford High School. I. Scanlon bettered the school record for runs scored in a career by two runs. Isaac recorded his 102nd run scored during his career. The previous record for runs scored in a career (100), was held by his brother Nate Scanlon, and established during the 2023 season. The senior from Springboro, Ohio led the Warriors to a 2-0 record on the week featuring big non-league victories over Franklin and Middletown Madison. On Tuesday vs. Middletown Madison, Scanlon posted a 1.000 batting average, going 3-for-3 with three RBI’s, and four stolen bases. The senior from Springboro, Ohio led the Lady Warriors to a pair of Metro Buckeye Conference (MBC) victories over Yellow Springs. Ferriman shaves more than three seconds off her own 1600 school record

For the second time this season, senior Isabella Ferriman broke a school record. On Friday night, April 26, 2024, she broke her own 1600-meter run record at the prestigious Wayne Invitational, finishing the race in 5:09.81, shaving more than three seconds off her previous school record time (5:13.72) to finish in second place.
