They're all on sale right now! This weekend, we've been taking a browse at some of the great deals available on the Xbox Store until next Tuesday, and we're particularly enticed by three Tomb Raider classics from the Xbox 360 era that are reduced by 85% each. These three games are Tomb Raider: Legend, Tomb Raider: Anniversary and Tomb Raider: Underworld, all of which are just £2.24 / $2.99 to add to your Xbox collection. The one catch is that you need to be an Xbox Game Pass member in some form to get this discount, otherwise they'll all still show up at full price. Read the full article on pu ..read more

Here's What Might Be Leaving Xbox Game Pass In June 2024

Some early predictions! What's leaving Xbox Game Pass in June 2024? Well, Microsoft hasn't confirmed anything just yet, but based on some games that were added to the service this time last year, we can at least make a few predictions ahead of time. We know that a lot of Xbox users want more advance notice of games leaving Xbox Game Pass, but Microsoft understandably gives us around two weeks right now - and don't forget, publishers sometimes secure late deals with Microsoft to keep their games on Game Pass, even after they've been announced to be leaving! This time it's "massively improved". Hands up, who remembers Rainbow Cotton for the SEGA Dreamcast? There are probably quite a few people who do, but for the majority of Xbox fans, we'd suggest that this 3D rail shooter from 2000 likely passed you by. That doesn't matter though, because 24 years after it first launched, we're now getting it on Xbox! Rainbow Cotton is heading to Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on May 9th, 2024, and this time it's benefiting from "fully localised anime cutscenes" along with a "graphical overhaul", complete with various other improvements as well. Microsoft Revokes Access To 'Amazing' James Bond Movie Deal On Xbox

Refunds are being processed. Every now and then a ridiculous price error crops up on one of the digital storefronts we all shop on these days, and this week saw a pretty insane one appear on the Microsoft Store. For a brief time, a $200+ James Bond Film Collection was mistakenly priced at just $5 - A mistake that's now being refunded and revoked by Microsoft. We first saw reports of this pricing error earlier this week, but at the time we missed out on the deal due to the specific time that it went live. At first we were a bit bummed out that we'd missed it, but perhaps predictably, anyone who ..read more

Feature: Redfall One Year On: Xbox's Vampire Misfire Still Lacks Bite

Man, this sucks. Was it really only this time last year that Redfall launched? Actually? It seems so much longer in game industry terms. So many huge titles have come and gone in the interim, so many genre-defining monsters (any excuse to big up Baldur’s Gate 3, honestly), and the particular style of looting and shooting that Arkane settled on for its 2023 vampire adventure has, if anything, fallen even further out of favour than it already had done 12 months ago. It all seems so long ago. Yes, we already spoke plenty back at Redfall's turbulent launch about how a boat had been well and truly ..read more

"Excited to get the XBHD in the hands of OG Xbox fans". EON Gaming's plug-and-play OG Xbox adapter — the XBHD — is getting a promotional price drop at the moment, in partnership with Castlemania Games. The US-based, retro-focused store is currently selling the XBHD for $99, down from the listed retail price of $150. Now, we're not sure how long this promotion will last, but EON itself has posted about the deal on Twitter, so it's definitely backed by the manufacturer at least. EON also uses this promo to remind users that all new XBHD units have fresh firmware that fixes any brightness issues ..read more
