Deacon Peter Doherty will be ordained to the Presbyterate for the Diocese of Rockhampton on Thursday, 22nd February 2024 by Bishop Michael McCarthy. The celebration will take place at St Joseph’s Cathedral, Rockhampton commencing at 10am.  All are welcome to attend this wonderful celebration for our Diocese. The XVI Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops, known as the “Synod on Synodality”, is underway at the Vatican. There is a large Australian contingent, along with representation from across the world.
